Al Maktoum Airport: Dubai’s Mega Leap in...
Dubai has not been timid to think big and with the development of Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), the emirate is establishing a new standard in the field of aviation worldwide. This magnificent project worth a staggering investment of £23.6 billion (US $35 billion) will become the largest airport in the world with a capacity of 260 million passengers per year and a coverage of 70 square kilometres. After the completion, it will become even larger than the unfinished King Salmon International Airport in Saudi Arabia, and again make it clear that Dubai is the aviation capital in the world.
